Only time can answer it and for each one, there will be a different answer.
In my case, since 1–2 years ago, each time when I’m on a flight and the plane is up in the air, and all you can see is the horizon line between the blue sky and white clouds, I get this feeling of satisfaction and I just smile. I’m not afraid of dying, because while flying you cannot control it, so if it is meant to be, well will happen either I’m panicking or not. In fact I’m thinking:
If I will die, I would have no regrets…I did everything as best as I could and I tried all the time (recently) to be a better person. I lived my life and if now it is about to reach the end.. And there is nothing that I could.. Well I’ll accept it and smile and say “thank you”…
Thinking about it, while possessing this approach it helps me to keep being positive and enjoy everything, every single little thing, starting with a smile on a kid face, observing people, having a good coffee, listening to wind on the trees, watching flowers glowing, keeping my calm on rush hour, making new bonds or looking at new technology advancements…
I found it helpful and useful to think about the meaning of life (not overthink) because it makes you appreciate more life.
In the end, it is all about memories. When we die, we take nothing with us and we will be remembered through our actions, what we leave behind and the memories of our friends & family.
