Nowadays most of the articles or stories use as a title: “5 tips to …succeed!”, “7 tips to not go crazy” and so on…
Nothing wrong in this, right?
I would agree if the tips were based on personal experience, but in most of the cases, they aren’t. The article basis is more on the ideas, reasons or even illusions. And that bothers me. Because it should come from experience since they are called tips and not opinions or even suggestions.
I think it should be the same with advice. Yep, that one that we provide it without being asked and is more to feed our ego, to show that we know the way to solve all world’s problems and we are wise, even if when it comes to us to deal with the similar situation we get amnesia, and we forget our own so-called advice.
Why is it like this?
My opinion is because our mind remembers what we feel more than what we act or think, without experiencing the emotions of the actions or thoughts.
That being said, I wish you all to think twice before giving an idea or a tip. 🙂
